Next week we will begin our celebrations for the Chinese new year, over the next two weeks the children will be involved in a variety of activities- making decorations, tasting rice and noodles, making Chinese lanterns, dragons and kites.
Today we had fun decorating tiger biscuits and I 'm sure the chidlren enjoyed eating them. We made tiger biscuits because this is the year of the tiger in the Chinese new year. We also looked at noodles, cooked them and ate them using chopsticks. Please watch this space to see our photographs.
On Friday 5th February, during the afternoon session, I will be meeting parents to discuss their child's first report and progress.
Please note this meeting is the initial parents' meeting, another meeting can be arranged for parents who have concerns for their child. If you feel you need to see me please let me know so that we can arrange a time and date.
